I am creating this profile for my only son Karan, who is currently leading sales for The Knowledge Academy (one of the world's largest upskilling companies).as their Chief Sales Officer (CSO).

In terms of his career, Karan is on a very promising high growth trajectory (currently at a package of 65 lakhs per annum) and always has his eyes set on "the next thing". His easy-going manner and effortless charm are his most appealing characteristics at first. Once you get to know him, he comes across as a jovial, diligent, sensible and well-balanced young man with a strong head over his shoulders.

He's a go-getter and an achiever with complete clarity on his life goals and priorities. While he enjoys the company of family and friends, his personal space is equally sacred to him. Time away from work is spent travelling, playing tennis/football/badminton and exploring new places. He likes to keep himself fit and also frequently goes biking, trekking trips and swimming. He loves nature & the outdoors and also a big foodie!

Ours is an affluent, well settled family with very liberal views. We are an affectionate bunch who always look out for each other. We have our own independent house in Delhi and an apartment in Tata Primanti Garden Estate in Gurgaon, where he is currently residing. I was previously running my own venture and am retired now. My wife is the Head of the Economics Department at Delhi Public School where she has been working for the last 20 years. Karan's grandparents, who are no more, were both highly established professionals. Grandfather retired as a top executive from Avery while grandmother was a doctor. Our extended family is also full of professionals and we value professional success.

Most women in the family are established professionals in different fields. One of his aunts is a leading Nephrologist in California while another is a filmmaker in Mumbai. We will support Karan's wife in her professional endeavours and would want her to pursue her ambitions.
