This profile is of my son.
We are a close-knit family with strong family values, originally from Hassan, Karnataka, and settled in Bengaluru since the 1960s. We are a small family, and our son is our only child. As parents, we have had the privilege of watching him grow into a calm, independent and grounded young man.
Sport has been an important part of his life since he was four years old. He played competitively through his school years and continued till Class 12, travelling across the country for tournaments. We feel that these experiences shaped him in many ways — learning to adapt to different people and environments, handle both success, disappointment, and very importantly remain composed in different situations. He is naturally quiet and reserved, but is warm with people he is comfortable with. He speaks thoughtfully, usually only when he has something to say, and is straightforward and to the point.
His interest in sports also played an important role in his education. He secured admission to PES University, Bengaluru, through the sports quota and completed his engineering in Computer Science. He was captain of the PESU badminton team and has won the best sportsperson award for two years in a row. During his engineering years, he developed an interest in entrepreneurship and pursued a course through the Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at PES University. After engineering, he further pursued a hybrid course in Cyber Security from IIT Kharagpur. He has chosen to follow his passion for sports and is now an entrepreneur in the sports field.
As a family, we are traditional in our values but modern in our outlook. We value education, independence, mutual respect and, above all, being there for one another. His mother is also an accomplished sportsperson from Bengaluru and continues to participate at the state and national levels, so sport has naturally been an integral part of our family life. We love food and do indulge but are disciplined when it come
